Environmental Logic conducts due diligence environmental assessments as an integral part of the redevelopment process. Our staff has completed thousands of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, NJDEP Preliminary Assessments, and other due diligence assessments for the transfer of ownership, closure, and reuse of properties. EL can also perform multimedia Phase II and Site Investigations to characterize the Recognized Environmental Conditions and/or Areas of Concern identified as part of the Phase I/Preliminary Assessments. This allows for development of Remedial Investigation work initiatives, delineation, and innovative remedial designs to catalyze redevelopment goals. Our staff inspectors are AHERA certified and able to conduct construction material assessments for buildings involving asbestos, lead base paint surveys, and drainage system evaluations. Assessments are used to project additional environmental costs related to demolishing site structures.
